CALL FOR ARTIST ENTRY SUBMISSIONS - LIVE MUSIC, DANCE PERFORMERS, ART FILMS/VIDEOS & OTHER LIVE PERFORMANCES:

There is no submission deadline since the events are ongoing. Performers and filmmakers deemed appropriate will receive promotional exposure through online and print media for the said event as well as exclusive comps and specials at the event.

Criteria for film/video entries:
  1. total length of screening should be no less than 30 min and no more than 1 hour long to screen at a venue. Collections of short films may be submitted as well as long as they collectively meet all other criteria. 
  2. preference for films without much dialogue or obviously developing plot (unless the dialogue is clearly experimental in nature) 
  3. the images should be aesthetically pleasing to the senses and not disturbing (no unnecessary violence) 
  4. the piece should be easily considered as art or experimental in nature 
  5. the film must be submitted in DVD format as an entry and for the screening   You should submit url's to any video's posted online and filmmakers website. 
  6. Contact me through the email address below. I will email you the mailing address to submit the high quality DVD's.
(do not send download links for your submissions - only DVD's or video's posted and viewable online are acceptable)

Criteria for live music and other performances:
  1.  the performance must be aesthetically pleasing (not disturbingly noisy or loud)
  2. strong preference for experimental and unconventional approaches to live music performance (such as eclectic sounds, rarely seen or heard instruments, electronic music and effects heavy sound manipulation) 
  3. acts will be between 30 minutes to about 1.5 hour in length
  4. Submissions should include live performance audio recorded in high quality digital format AND must include at least one picture of a live performance.   (if the performers do not have any live act pictures, then they should submit pics of each performer) (mixing and mastering the sample audio is appreciated but unnecessary for submission) 
  5. you must email your site url's and any links to any videos viewable online.
  6. you must email any music or sounds of what will play throughout your performance - at the very least something you have recorded that resembles of what you will play.  The audio MUST be 320 kbps stereo MP3 format converted down from WAV format. You may email them or upload them to send me a download link to my email. www.sendspace.com is a great upload site for free up to 300 mb per upload.
